Rizziconi Energia was committed to carrying out an accurate study before constructing the plant, which starting from a National and International Energy demand evaluation, took into consideration multiple aspects: such as environmental impact on the surrounding area, the distribution of the residing population, the presence of other industrial sites, or emission sources and the road access, as well as the presence of potential architectural and landscape barriers.
This selection process led to the Gioia Tauro Plain being singled out as a very suitable location to place a production site, due to its optimal logistical road links and also to its role as potentiality for growth, which it could create in the area.
